We operate independently from the Police, offering easy access to services for people being held in custody. The ultimate aim of the scheme is to enable offenders to engage with services, in order to reduce their drug and alcohol use and related offending behaviour.
Clients’ motivation levels are assessed in order to measure their readiness to change. Information can be provided on how to change their lifestyle, highlighting treatment options that are available to them. Following a full assessment and with client consent, we will refer them to appropriate agencies.
